JAMB Registration: Kogi Govt. Commences CBT Registration for Over 15, 000

In a bid to cushion the current economic hardship in the country, Kogi State government has commenced registration of over 15,000 students for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Recalled that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo had resolved to continue with the legacies of the immediate past Governor of the State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello across all sectors especially in Education.

According to a statement by Musa Solomon, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the CBT registration is free.

“Kogi State Government recently enacted a Law on Free Examination Registration for students in public primary and secondary Schools in the State.

“In line with the above and a follow up to the payment of FREE WAEC fees for 15,033 SSS3 students in public secondary schools across the State, the State Government has commenced the registration of the same 15,033 students for 2024 JAMB.

“In View of this all the 15,033 students that have been enrolled for JAMB should collect forms from the their Schools and proceed to any CBT Center in their respective Local Government Areas for registration.

“Students from the following LGA’S; Ibaji, Yagba West, Kogi, Ofu and Bassa that have no CBT Centers are to go to their Local Government Headquarters for registration on Friday 16th of February, 2024 as teams will be at LGA’S Headquarters to register them.
