Moved by his usual magnanimous disposition, Iyara Community, home town of former Kogi West Senator, Smart Adeyemi has showered encomiums on their son for facilitating Educational Materials worth millions of naira to two schools in the community.
Recall that Sen. Adeyemi, delivered educational materials worth N40m to eight Secondary Schools in Kogi West Senatorial district, including IASS and Iyara Muslim College both in Iyara-Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State as part of his constituency intervention project.
The materials include; textbooks in English Language, Mathematics, Basic Science /Technology, Computer Science and Literature studies, projectors, projector screens, exercise books and writing materials.
Reacting to the donation, Alhaji Aliyu Badaki, National President of Iyara Development Association (IDA), described the donation as exemplary and a relief to the deficit of educational materials in schools in the Community.
Alh. Aliyu commended the former Senator for coming to the aid of Iyara schools even after leaving office, saying the Community is proud of him.
According to him, the items will go a long way in enhancing teaching and learning in the benefiting schools and prayed God to reward to reward Senator Smart Adeyemi.
