Kogi NURTW Chairman Appoints SSA on Road Taxes, Revenue Matters and Special Duties

The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Kogi State Chapter, Alhaji Ibrahim Yahaya has appointed Hon. Prince Dan Olaitan Dada as Senior Special Assistant on Road Taxes, Revenue Matters and Special Duties.

 

The Chairman presented the appointment letter to Prince Dan at the Union’s Secretariat Lokoja, saying with the appointment, he is now saddled with the responsibility of verifying and advise the Union inline with Kogi State taxes and revenue extant laws towards ensuring compliance by members.

As an Expert of road tax, he is also to provide advice on revenue matters and other assigned special duties towards the progress of the Union and Kogi State.

“In line with the constitution of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and policy, we are pleased to inform you that, after careful consideration, the Kogi State Chairman of the Union has approved your appointment as senior special assistant (SSA) on road taxes, revenue matters and special duties.”

 

“You are to verify and advise the Union inline with Kogi State taxes and revenue extant laws towards the union membership compliance on road taxes, revenue matters and other assigned special duties towards the progressive and purposeful progress of the Union and Kogi State.”

 

The appointment takes immediate effect on February 1st 2025, Prince Dan is expected to also Mediate between the State Government and the NURTW in Kogi State.

 

Prince Dan, the MD. Dansavist Multi Concept who is the Technical partner to Kogi State Government on Implementation of Driver and Conductor Badge, Commercial Vehicle Colour Exceptional Permit, Mobile Hawkers License (Trade Permit) and other related Intra State Vehicle Related collections is to ensure that the interest of the NURTW is guided, and not detriment to Kogi State constitutional payable revenue by members of the NURTW.

 

“You will report directly to the chairman, Kogi state National Union of Road Transport Workers, the Chairman added.
