Kogi Project Commissioning Committee Visits Sites, Lauds Gov. Bello Developmental Drive

Ahead of the Visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to commission some projects executed by the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration, the Chairman, Planning Committee on Project Commissioning, Hon. Wemi Jones has visited some of the project sites in Lokoja, the State Capital.

Hon. Jones was accompanied by one of the members of the Committee, Barr. Ladi Jatto, Project Coordinator, Kogi State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP).

The Committee visited the remodelled Kogi State Specialist Hospital, the Administrative Block and Psychiatric block of the hospital.

The Committee Chairman, Hon. Wemi Jones, who is also the Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology while speaking with Newsmen expressed satisfaction with the quality and level of work done.

He commended the contractors handling the project for executing the projects according to specification.

The Commissioner hailed the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for revamping health sector with infrastructural facilities, describing him as a man who believes that a heathy life is a healthy nation.

He urged the Contractor to be ready for the handing over of the project as soon as possible.
