Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), Kogi Security Adviser, has sent condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Usman Ododo, on the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, on Monday, August 18, 2025.

In a sympathy statement to Gov. Ododo, Omodara described Alhaji Ododo’s death as a startling shock and a significant loss not only for Kogi State but for Nigeria as a whole, given his invaluable contributions to the cause of mankind.

The State Security Adviser’s condolence message, signed by the security chief himself, was distributed to journalists in Lokoja today by his Media Aide, Charles Olukunle.

He praised the late Momohsani Ododo as an ideal father, faithful Muslim, and community leader who dedicated his life to serving God and humanity.

Commander Omodara observes that Alh. Ahmed Momohsani Ododo will be remembered warmly for his legacies dedicated to God and humanity, and prays that God grants the departed Jannatul Firdaus as well as those he has left behind the strength to grieve his loss.
