Hon. Amodu Abubakar, the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Grassroots Mobilisation to the Kogi State Governor, has been appointed Director of Mobilization, Kogi State Chapter of the City Boy Movement.
The appointment was conveyed in an official letter signed by Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, State Director, City Boy Movement, Kogi State Chapter, who described the appointment as a recognition of Abubakar’s commitment, loyalty and consistent contributions to the growth and vision of the movement.
According to the letter, in his new role, Hon. Amodu Abubakar is expected to develop and implement effective mobilization strategies, coordinate grassroots outreach programmes, build strategic relationships with communities and stakeholders, and supervise mobilization teams across the state.
He is also saddled with the responsibility of identifying and engaging potential supporters, maintaining accurate records of members and volunteers, and collaborating with other leadership teams to advance the vision, mission and objectives of the organization, particularly in promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Reacting to his appointment, Hon. Amodu Abubakar expressed profound appreciation to the founder of the City Boy Movement, Seyi Tinubu, and the State Director, Hon. Mark Okpanachi Ogah, for finding him worthy of the responsibility.
He pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him, assuring the leadership and members of the movement that he would not let them down.
Abubakar further declared his commitment to mobilizing broad-based grassroots support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that the President’s re-election is “not negotiable.”
