His Royal Highness, the Oluwoa of Oke-Offin Bunu, in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State, Oba James Adeniyi Ayinmode, on Sunday condoled with Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi over the demise of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh-Sani Ododo, who passed away on August 18, at the age of 83.
Oba Ayinmode, in his condolence message made available to journalists, conveyed the condolences of the people of Oke-Offin community to Gov. Ododo and his entire family, saying, ”Baba lived a fulfilled life that was exemplary”.
The royal father prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh-Sani Ododo while also praying to God to grant the deceased family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Oba James Ayinmode said death is inevitable noting that every living soul must have a taste of it. He urged the governor and members of Ododo’s family to take solace from the fact that Baba lived a very fulfilled life on earth.
The Kabiesi however, assured the governor that the people of Kogi State will continue to rally round him at all time in his effort to make the state great.
He commended Governor Ododo for establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with traditional rulers and particularly highlighted the priority the governor placed on the welfare of traditional rulers in the State.
