A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ward D, Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mall. Abdullahi Yusuf Abdullahi has dumped the party.
Mallam Abdullahi in a letter addressed to the Ward Chairman and Secretary did not give reason for leaving the main opposition party.

The letter reads in part, “Please accept this letter as the formal notice of my Resignation from The People’s Democratic Party Kogi state from this day 29-01-2025.”
“I appreciate the opportunities I have had while serving as a member of PDP
“However after careful consideration, I have decided that it is the best interest of personal and professional goals to step down from the party
“I thank you for your understanding and I wish the party continued success in its future endeavors.
