The Registrar and Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO), Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, has lost his father, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi.
Alhaji Wushishi, a respected community leader in Wushishi Local Government Area of Niger State, died at the age of 106.
A press statement signed by the Acting Director, Information and Public Relations of NECO, Azeez Sani, on Saturday, confirmed the death.
“Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Nawuya Wushishi is survived by 12 children, 60 grand children and 15 great grand children, among whom is Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the Registrar/chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO).
“He has been buried according to islamic rites. May Allah grant him Aljanah firdausi,” the statement said.
