The National President, Iyara Development Association (IDA), Alh. Aliyu Badaki has congratulated sons and daughters of the Community on the celebration of New Year.
Alh. Aliyu in a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen said “It is with great joy and gratitude to the Almighty God that I welcome you all to the New Year, 2023. While the past year had its ups and downs, nevertheless, let us thank God for His abundant mercies that made us to see another year.”
“I want to take a moment to thank God for all of the new developments that have been happening in our community. Through His grace and guidance, we have been able to make great strides in improving the lives of our people. From rebuilding hospitals and renovating schools, to community centre, water and electricity projects, these developments are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our people.
“As we welcome into the new year, therefore, I would like us to reflect on all that we have accomplished together over the past year. It was a challenging year, but thanks to your hard work, dedication, and support, we were able to make a real difference in our community and in the lives of our people. I want to express my deep gratitude to each and every one of you for your support and dedication over the past year. Your contributions have been invaluable in helping us to achieve our goals and make positive impacts in our community and in the lives of our people. Whether you have volunteered your time, donated funds, facilitated projects, or simply offered your encouragement and guidance, you have played a pivotal role in our success.
“I would like to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi (DSSA) for his support and dedication to the development of Iyara and for changing the face of Iyara . I also want to greatly appreciate our Trustees, led by Prof. Sam Ale for providing guidance to IDA. Mrs Folashade Joseph and other government appointees, you have used your positions to uplift Iyaraland and the lives of our people. Our highly respected Chiefs, thank you for ensuring decorum and peaceful selection process of the Oba of Iyara. Special appreciation goes to fellow National Executives, Past Executives, the Think Tank, Branch Executives, Women, Gbarufus, Standing Committees, Clubs and Societies, community leaders, Youths, and Students for your support, which has ensured peace and security, thereby, providing the enabling environment for the ongoing development strides in Iyara.
“Let me also express heartfelt gratitude to every patriotic Iyara daughter and son, who has supported the Iyara Development Association (IDA), and the community and our people in one way or the other. Through your generosity and support, we have been able to give Iyara the much-needed facelift and improve the lives of our people. I am truly grateful to have such dedicated and passionate individuals as indigenes of Iyara. While we have not yet reached the Promised Land, we can unequivocally say that we are no longer where we used to be.
“As we look ahead to the future, I am filled with hope for all that we will be able to achieve together. I am excited to see what the future holds for Iyara, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside each and every one of you to make more positive impacts in our town and in the lives of our people. With God’s continued guidance and your support, I am confident that we will be able to make even more of a difference this year. Let us work together as a team, with love and support for one another.
