Nine Graduating pupils of Tony Zayan International Nursery and Primary School on Thursday launched books they authored.
The ceremony which was held at the school premises in Lokoja, saw the young graduates taking turns to present their books, which covered titles like friendship, courage, family and the society.
A pupil, Amira Inikpi Friday who who wrote a book titled the “The wicked Brother”, said the book teaches the consequences of been wicked to your fellow siblings.
On her part, the author of “greedy souls” Haneefa Ufedo Friday said the book teaches people to be content and think about others.
Another author, Umar Ikram Omokhabo who wrote a book “Dangerous Ambition” said he wrote the play to show that wanting something too badly can lead to trouble.
A teacher of the school, Mr. Godwin Onuche described the moment as a bold step towards nurturing creativity and leadership in children.
According to him, the school aims to produce not just literate pupils, but thinkers and problem solvers.
Reacting, a parent whose children were among the authors, Alhaji Friday Idachaba, expressed Joy and satisfaction on the accomplishments of his children at such young age.
Alhaji Friday praised the school for it’s commitment to shaping the lives of their pupils and building them into better people in the society.
Another parent of the pupils, Mr. Abubakar Umar said it’s a moment of discovery, seeing his child become an author at a young age which he noted shows how much the school invested in building not just knowledge, but confidence and creativity.
