The leadership of Okun Development Association ably led by its President General, Amb. Rotimi Akenson has lauded the establishment of Kogi State University Kabba, describing it as a step in the right direction.
Amb. Akenson made the remark during his maiden visit to the Institution since his emergence as President General in March 2024.
The ODA team was received by the management of the university led by the Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Kehinde Eniola.
In his speech Amb Akenson commended the initiative of the government of Kogi state in siting the university at Kabba.
He also commended the vice chancellor and his team on the rapid development in the university.
He assured the management of the readiness of ODA to collaborate with the university to achieve the dream of the founders.
Responding, the vice chancellor congratulated the President general and his team on their election to take charge of the affairs of ODA.
He said the visit of ODA has erazed any previous misconception on the resolve of ODA to support the development of the university and wished the President General and his team a successful tenure.
