Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, has officially commissioned Confluence Lube, a new lubricant production and distribution company located at Ganaja, Lokoja-Ajaokuta Expressway.
The Governor was represented at the commissioning ceremony by the State Security Adviser to the Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd).
Speaking at the event, Omodara conveyed the Governor’s message and congratulated the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Confluence Lube Company, Chief Okechukwu Obika, for the laudable initiative.

He commended him for his vision and for empowering Kogi youths who will be direct beneficiaries through job creation at the company.

He called on other well-meaning individuals and investors to emulate Chief Obika’s idea by making lasting investments in Kogi State, noting that the Ododo administration will continue to encourage and support such private sector-driven innovations.
The Governor assured that the Kogi State Government is fully ready to partner with and support the oil company to ensure its growth and sustainability in the state.
He also admonished the Igbo community in Kogi State not to relent in supporting one another and promoting unity, while reaffirming the government’s unwavering commitment to their safety, welfare, and peaceful coexistence in the state.
He assured that the Government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is working round the clock for the early completion of the Ajaokuta Steel Company to strengthen indigenous companies, create employment for our youths and upgrade our industries in the country.
He called for unalloyed support for the government at all levels.
