The organizing committee for the 2023 Gbede Day and Fund raising ceremony for the construction of the Olugbede’s palace and the GDU secretariat was inaugurated on Monday at the Olugbede’s palace.
The Committee were inaugurated by the Olu Gbede of Gbede, Oba Olusegun Oloruntoba.
The Committee is to be chaired by HRH Oba Faleke Tayo David, Olu of Iyah Gbede and Chief Pedro Durotiwon as Vice Chairman while Chief Lasisi Ajege is to serve as Secretary.
Others are; Ohunenese Emmanuel Niyi,
Chief Isiaka Umoru, Elegunja,
Chief A K Yackson, Chief Olajide Eniayekan and Alh. Uthman Ganiyu as members.
Responding after the inauguration, the chairman,the Olu of Iya Gbede appreciated HRM,the Olugbede of Gbede for the opportunity and confidence repose on the committee members.He prayed that the wisdom required to positively progress the kingdom shall be endowed on the members.
