Omodara Welcomes Dino Melaye’s Loyalist, Otunba Mokikan, Supporters to APC

Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara rtd on Friday joined other leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to receive a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Otunba Kingsley Mokikan into the party.

The Aiyetoro Kiri Community was agog amidst singing and dancing as Otunba Mokikan, the former loyalist of Candidate of the main opposition party, Dino Melaye dumped the umbrella party for the APC.

Commander Omodara, a grassroots politician cum Security Expert, while speaking at the decamping ceremony described the decamping as timely, coming at a time that the Party needs more unity.

The Security Adviser, who was happy with the development, welcomed the new entrants to the Party, urging them to make impact for the progress of APC and the State in particular.

According to him, with Otunba Mokikan already in the APC, future elections in Aiyetoro Kiri and Kabba-Bunu would be a work over for the ruling party.

He said the goodwill and successes recorded by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo so far in office, has endeared many to the Party in just few months in office.
