Kogi State chairman of National Rescue Movement NRM Hon Agnes Agada has described the recent endorsement of the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Senator Dino Melaye by a renegade group posing as State executive of National Rescue Movement led by one Tijani Isah Faruna as a big Scam and should be disregarded.
Hon Agada Agnes in
a statement to Newsmen said the State Executives of the Party knows nothing about the Charade called endorsement.
The chairman , Hon Mrs Agada Agnes who was the Candidate of the Party for Ankpa, Omala, Olamaboro federal house of representatives election in the February 2023 General elections said perhaps Some few Opportunists have Cashed in on the opportunity to scam Senator Dino Melaye and the PDP.
” The Chairperson of the Party, the acting secretary and other executive members are very much on ground and as such, if there is going to be any endorsement of any Candidate and party, we should be very much aware and part of it ”
” We the excos in the state are not aware, the National headquarters of our Party is equally not aware and the impostor called Tijani Isah Faruna is not a member of our party as he has left the party long before the 2023 general elections.So how will an individual gather people in the name of cashing out. It’s Folly ”
” I was shocked when I read the story written by one Bolaji attached with a picture where the flag of the People’s Democratic Party was handed over to the renegades who claimed to be from our Party. We are taking necessary actions soon to deal with the situation.”
In the Meantime, the chairman of National Rescue Movement in Kogi State advised the teeming Supporters of the party across the State to disregard the Show of shame called endorsement by the group as the Candidate of the Party Alhaji Bala Abdulghafar Dirisu have already pledged support for the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo ahead of the November 11 2023 Governorship election.
