The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III has declared Thursday as the commencement day of Ramadan fast.
He announced this in a broadcast at his palace in Sokoto, on Wednesday.
The Sultan said this is sequel to the sighting of the new moon of Ramadan.
