The CMD, who maintained that the Reference Hospital is accredited to provide healthcare for enrollees of the Scheme, pointed out that the medical facility serves both out patients and those on referral.

While speaking on the proper handling and use of the world class equipment available in the hospital, Prof Avidime explained that staff were being trained continuously on how to operate the machines and perform the required services perfectly.

He stated that the hospital was doing its best with the available manpower across various departments, assuring that it would continue to improve on its services to reduce medical tourism in Nigeria.

The CMD expressed appreciation to the immediate past administration under Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for establishing the hospital to offer qualitative healthcare services to the people of Kogi State and to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing the necessary support for the hospital to improve on its services.
