Muslims in Kogi State have been enjoined to sustain the spirit of love, sacrifice and selflessness .
Chief Medical Director/CEO of the Reference Hospital Okene Prof Solomon Avidime stated this in a Sallah message to the people.
Prof Avidime said the virtue of love and obedience as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son to Allah should be the way of life of Muslim faithfuls.
He stressed the need for total submission and obedience to the teaching of Prophet Mohammed
and renewal of their faith and worship to Allah
The CMD, while felicitating with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire Muslims in Kogi State on the occasion of Eid el-Adha, urged them to exhibit selflessness and show love and care to their neighbors.
Prof Avidime also acknowledged the support of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to the smooth running of the Reference Hospital which has resulted in the health facility recording notable achievements.
He called on Muslims to continue to be law abiding and to keep to ensure peaceful co-existence with adherents of other religions.
