The Sanity Multi-Efforts Forum (SMEF) has commended the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu, for the reforms introduced so far to strengthen the Force in the country.
Prince Dan Olaitan Dada, President of SMEF in a statement applauded the reduction of tactical teams nationwide, describing it as a bold move to enhance supervision, address public complaints, and improve accountability within the Force.
“We urge the IGP to continue prioritizing professionalism, transparency, and community engagement,” said Prince Dan .

According to him, the swift move by the IGP to establish State Police that Nigerians have been yearning for is a step in the right direction and a clear indication that Mr. Disu has the capacity to steer the ship of the Force.
