Stakeholders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), party faithful and stalwarts have thrown their weight behind the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim, endorsing him for a second term in office.
The endorsement followed deliberations by stakeholders and party leaders, who expressed confidence in the Chairman’s leadership, citing his commitment to grassroots development, inclusiveness, people-oriented governance and effective representation as key reasons for their continued support.
The stakeholders noted that Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim’s track record of service and people-first leadership deserves continuity, urging party members and supporters to remain united and committed to the progress of the party.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Fehinti Dada reiterated that there is no crisis within the party, stressing that APC members in Ijumu remain one family with a shared commitment to delivering victory for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Also speaking, Hon. Funsho Olumoko urged party faithful to jettison all grievances and personal differences, calling on members to place party assignments and collective interests above individual considerations.
He appealed to all stakeholders to work together as one united family, stressing that unity, discipline and commitment would be critical to delivering the party’s candidates with unprecedented margins in the forthcoming elections.
The stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to the leadership of Alhaji Haruna Ibrahim and pledged continued support for the APC, while also rallying support for the administrations and political agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The gathering ended on a note of unity, with stakeholders emphasizing the need for peace, loyalty and collective action in strengthening the APC in Ijumu.
