He emphasized that security is a progressive work that the people must take seriously, saying the step taken by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to expand new Divisions and Formations in the Army is already yielding results especially in Kogi State.

He appreciated the President for his vision and Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Wahid Shuaibu for bringing the Divisions closer to Kogi with headquarters in Benue State.

The Security Adviser explained that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has keyed into the ideal of the Chief of Army Staff by providing the enabling environment for the Officers and Soldiers across the Battalions in the State to do their jobs.

Our deployment going forward is going to be solid. It is going to seriously improve security in Kogi State.

“In Kabba, I have inspected the Kabba Battalion, the Governor has given the directed that whatever that is needed to make them comfortable in line with the Standard of the Army should be provided.

According to him, the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency are happy with the presence of the Battalion, pointing out that they are ready to provide the necessary intelligence and support.

President Tinubu is changing the Security trajectory of Nigeria. This is good for us, it is good for the system. We will ensure that while the government is providing the necessary support, we call on Kogi State indigenes particularly those in where the Battalions are established to come to our aid also.

“Apart from the intelligence, we need the support. We need people to also reciprocate what the government is doing by ensuring that we provide them with amenities.
