The Akanle Political Movement (aka, Idera De) has expressed shock over the demise of its former Director General, Chief Shola Adedoyin.
Chief Adedoyin was reported to have died in a ghastly motor accident in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
The Leader of the Political Movement, Dr. Williams Toyin Akanle in a condolence message obtained by The Drum Reporter described the death of Chief Adedoyin as shocking.
“It is with a heavy heart that l received the shocking news of the demise of Chief Shola Adedoyin, who died in a ghastly motor accident in Abuja.
Chief Adedoyin was the Director General of the IDERA DE Campaign Organization between 2014 and 2015 when l contested the Kogi West Senatorial seat under the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
He is so calm, unassuming, hardworking and was totally committed to the project throughout the campaign and beyond.
He had the daunting task of coordinating the campaign activities of the party because we came into the race while the elections were barely four months away. He therefore, had to work assiduously for the modest success we had.
He is gone, but his good deeds will always be remembered and appreciated by members of the IDERA DE Campaign Organization.
Dr. Akanle sympathized with the immediate family of the deceased, Ekinrin Adde community, Ijumu Local Government, Okun land and Kogi State on the unfortunate demise.
“On behalf of our political movement, l hereby wish the soul of our departed SHOLA find rest in the bosom of the Lord.
May the Almighty God console the family, friends and associates of the departed. Amen.
