UK Based Philanthropist Donates Modern Gari Processing Factory to Kogi Community

Inducted Into Omo Atata Hall of Fame

United Kingdom based Philanthropist, Mr. Babatunde Makanjuola has donated a modern Gari Processing Factory to Ekinrin Adde Community in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Mr. Makanjuola while speaking with The Drum Reporter on the sideline of 2023 Ekinrin Adde Day said the gesture was his own way of giving back to the society, particularly empowering women to be self reliant.

According to him, plans are on to build to build a Palm Oil Processing Factory in the Community as well as different skills acquisition programmes that will keep the youths off the street.

Mr. Makanjuola, who was among imminent sons and daughters of Ekinrin Adde Community, inducted into the Omo Atata Hall of Fame noted that the Award was a recognition of his modest contributions to the Community in the area of facilitating relocation of youths to the United Kingdom, job creation and Entrepreneurship guide.
