The National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin Adde Community Development Association EACDA, Amb. Adewale Adekanye at the weekend bagged the prestigious Ekinrin- Adde “Man of the Year Award.”
The Award was in recognition of his outstanding contributions to community development and using his office to positively project the image of the Community.
The Award was presented to him and other eminent sons and daughters of the community for distinguishing themselves in selfless service to the Community as well as in their chosen careers.
The Awardee also made the list of eminent sons and daughters of the Community inducted as Ekinrin -Adde Cultural Ambassadors.
Responding to the honour, Mr. Adewale Adekanye thanked the Olu Adde of Ekinrin Adde, Olu Anthony Bamigbaye Idowu, ACA, CON (Ahemaworo 1) and his amiable Olori, the EACDA National executives, for the recognition, assuring of his commitment to doing more to contribute his quota to the development of the community.
According to him, the Award will spur him to do more and he dedicates it to his late father, Samuel Adekanye Aronimoh who himself contributed immensely to the development of the Ekinrin-Adde community and the people in his lifetime. He equally appreciated Elder Deinde Komolafe, Amb Rufus Aiyenigba and Mr Mejabi Ekundayo who conspired and lured him into community service.
