Following the Launch of the Rural Access & Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) by President Muhammadu Buhari, Kogi State Coordinator of the Project, Engr. Sheidu Obansa says the State is ready to implement the project.
Engr. Obansa stated this awhile speaking with Newsmen at Abuja on the sideline of the Launching of the Project.
President Buhari had used the occasion to reiterate his administration’s vision of hope for better and prosperous Nigeria.
President Buhari who was represented at the occasion by the Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum made the remarks at the official launch of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) in Abuja noted that it is consistent with Nigeria’s Vision 2020 priorities, an initiative aimed at improving rural access and agricultural marketing in participating states while strengthening the financing and institutional base for effective development, maintenance and management of rural road network.
But Engineer Sheidu Obansa said the event which was a morale booster for the participating States, will gear them up in delivering the mandates of the project.
He applauded Governor Yahaya Bello for providing the political will for the state involvement in the laudable project.
Other State Officials at the event are; Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Idris Asiru, Commissioner of Energy and Rural Development Muhammad Muktar, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Energy and Rural Development and Chairman State Project Management Committee, Hussein Sule.
