A Lokoja Based Orphanage Home, Rehoboth Children’s Home (RCH) has congratulated former Kogi State Auditor General for Local Government, Alh. Usman Ododo on his resounding victory at the Governorship Election held last Saturday.
Founder of the Home, Chief Modupe Olaitan Awoniyi in a statement made available to Newsmen in Lokoja on Tuesday said the victory was a reward of service to humanity particularly less privileged in the society.
Chief Modupe said “For us in RCH, we are happy that our Benefactor, Alh. Usman Ododo emerged as the 5th Governor of Kogi State and this did not come to us as a surprise because he deserve it.
She recalled how Alh. Usman Ododo came to the rescue of the Orphanage Home when a surface well which was the only source of water for the home dried up in 2022 with the provision of borehole and other assistance in less than 48 hours.
She expressed optimism that the incoming Governor will perform creditably and expressed the joy of children and management of the home to the cheerful news of Alh. Ododo’s victory.
Chief Modupe added that the Home will support the incoming government with prayers to enable him succeed in his vision for a better Kogi State urged all Kogites to cooperate with his government.
