The reappointment of Cmr. Duro Jerry Omodara (rtd) as Kogi State Security Adviser has been described as a reward for dexterity, hard work, loyalty and consistent humanitarian service to the Government and people of the State.
The Publisher of The Eagle newsline and Eminence magazine, Hon.. David Arokoyo made the remark in a statement while reacting to the reappointment of his boss, Commander Omodara.

According to the statement which was made available to Newsmen in Lokoja, The State Capital, the reappointment of the State Security Adviser is a step in the right direction and a clear indication that God rewards hard work.
Hon. Arokoyo, who had worked closely with Commander Omodara as his Personal Assistant recall the love of his benefactor (Omodara) for the people not minding the geo political zone or ethnicity, his service to the State in the last administration of Governor Yahaya Bello was not in vein.
He applauded the Eagle eyes of the current Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for finding Cmr. Omodara worthy of the appointment, pointing out that his reappointment will add value and contribute meaningful to the Renewed Hope Agenda of Governor Ododo in the Area of Security.
“My Boss Cmr. Duro Jerry Omodara is a man of destiny, a Security Expert per excellence and unique Retired Navy Commander that has provided useful and resourceful advices to the immediate past administration since he was appointed by former Governor Yahaya Bello.
“There’s something unique about him, he can give his last card just to make anyone that crosses his part and his people happy. His sterling leadership qualities has earned him several awards and accolades from different Professional bodies and groups.
The former Kabba/Bunu Minority Leader, Arokoyo added that; he is optimistic that the appointees will not disappoint Gov. Ododo and the people of the State in his renewed task of providing professional advice and initiating policies that will nip crime and criminality in the bud and as well make the State safe for all.
