It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I announce the transition of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, the Obaro of Iyamoye Kingdom. His passing marks the end of a glorious reign defined by peace, wisdom, and selfless service to his people. The entire Ijumu Local Government Area mourns this great loss, which has created a deep void in the traditional and cultural life of our dear local government.
As Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, I had the honour of associating with His Royal Majesty during his lifetime. He was a man of great intellect, humility, and foresight who worked tirelessly to ensure that Iyamoye Kingdom remained a symbol of unity and progress. His commitment to the welfare of his people was evident in every aspect of his leadership, and his contributions will forever be remembered.
The late monarch was not only a custodian of tradition but also a unifier and father figure whose influence extended far beyond his kingdom. His wisdom, calm nature, and dedication to peace played a crucial role in strengthening harmony among communities across Ijumu.
