Kogi born Frontline Politician, Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji says he has absolute confidence in the State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo in ensuring that power shift to the West Senatorial District come 2031.
This is follows agitations from some quarters in the State for the number one seat to shift to Kogi West.
Asiwaju Olusoji while speaking with Newsmen after he was conferred with Honourary Chieftaincy Title of Agbaakin of Ijumu Kingdom by the Olujumu of Ijumu, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni at this year’s Ijumu Cultural Festival held at his Palace in Iyara.
According to him, Governor Ododo as a God fearing man can be trusted, saying the people of Okun land must first unite and embrace dialogue for power to shift.
He pointed out that he will not compromise the interest of his people, pointing out that as an expert in the game of Politics, Okun is long overdue to produce Governor in the State but such should be done with dialogue and cooperation of the other Senatorial Districts.

He cautioned Politicians from Okun land against making any mistakes of contesting in 2027, emphasizing the need for Gov. Ododo to be allowed to finish his 8 year tenure to make the demand just and fair.
Asiwaju Olatunji however thanked Ijumu Traditional Council for honouring him with the Chieftaincy title, maintaining that such will spur him to do more for the people.
He assured of his commitment to providing needed support when called upon, adding that Gov. Ododo must be supported to get more dividends of democracy.
