The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, has congratulated the Kogi State Auditor-General for Local Government, Hon. Yakubu Siyaka Adabenege, on his emergence as Chairman of the Conference of Auditor-Generals of Local Government in Nigeria.
Adabenege had emerged at the 30th Conference of the body, held in Lokoja.
In a congratulatory statement, Dr. Fashagba described the development as well-deserved, noting that it reflects the trust and confidence reposed in Hon. Adabenege by his colleagues across the federation.
He described the new Chairman as a youthful, resourceful and diligent leader whose rise to the position serves as a good example and source of inspiration to youths in Kogi State and beyond.
According to the Provost, Adabenege’s emergence at the national level was a testament to hard work, integrity and dedication to duty, qualities he said should be emulated by young people aspiring to excel in public service.
Dr. Fashagba expressed confidence that the new Chairman would bring his wealth of experience to bear on the assignment, and further strengthen the role of local government auditing in ensuring transparency and accountability across the country.
He wished Adabenege a successful tenure, assuring him of the continued support and goodwill of the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, and Kogi State at large.
