After carefully considering and reviewing all available options, Arch. Salman Idris FNIA remains the best candidate to entrust with our mandate to represent Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives in 2027.

Leadership should be judged by performance, accessibility, legislative engagement, constituency development and the ability to attract meaningful projects—not merely by political slogans or personal sentiments.

Since assuming office, Arch. Salman Idris has been associated with several constituency interventions, including road rehabilitation, rural infrastructure, education, empowerment, healthcare initiatives and community engagement.
Reports have also highlighted his advocacy for the rehabilitation of the Kabba–Ifaki–Ado-Ekiti road, for which ₦24.7 billion was approved in 2026.

His efforts to address insecurity are also noteworthy. In July 2026, he disclosed ongoing efforts toward establishing military formations around the Kiri axis of Kabba-Bunu and the Ayere-Akunu border axis of Ijumu, following legislative and inter-agency engagements.

Beyond projects, representation is also about being accessible to the people, listening to their concerns and maintaining regular engagement with stakeholders.
His earlier commitment to transparent representation and periodic town-hall engagement reflects this approach.

The choice is therefore not about blind loyalty or political sentiment. It is about continuity, measurable representation and giving a performing representative the opportunity to consolidate what has already been started.

When a representative is working, the rational thing to do is to support continuity.

Our mandate remains with Arch. Salman Idris FNIA for 2027.
