A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), David S. Aiyedogbon, Esq, popularly known as Charvid, has mourned the sudden death of Mr. Solomon Mayowa Oyewole, Chairman of the party in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
In a condolence statement titled “A Painful Exit,” Aiyedogbon described Oyewole’s death as a shocking and painful loss to his family, his community, and the APC family in Ijumu and across Kogi State.
He said the deceased’s commitment to the unity, progress and development of the party would be greatly missed, describing his exit as “great loss” to all who knew him.
The APC chieftain extended his condolences to the family of the late party chairman, his community, and the leadership and members of the APC, praying for the repose of his soul.
“I pray that Almighty God will grant his soul eternal rest and give his family, friends, associates and the entire APC family the strength and fortitude to bear this painful and irreparable loss,” he said.
Aiyedogbon prayed for the eternal rest of the deceased’s soul.
