The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba has expressed grief and sadness over the unfortunate demise of the Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Solomon Mayowa Oyewole.
Dr. Fashagba, who made the remark in a condolence message, described the death of Hon. Solomon as devastating, collosal and tragic, coming at a time that his political experience is most needed.
In his words “I lack words to express how I feel following the death my beloved Brother, Hon. Solomon Mayowa Oyewole. This news is devastating, disheartening and sad. Ijumu has lost a great Personality, rare gem and Grassroots politician, who has contributed to the growth of the party.
I sympathise with the family of my brother, friends, political Associates and Leaders, stakeholders, and APC faithful over the painful and great loss.
Hon. Oyewole Solomon was a dedicated party leader and a dependable compass in advancing the interests of the party and the people of Ijumu. His sudden departure is a great loss to the APC and the entire Ijumu community.
I pray Almighty God to grant him eternal rest and give his family, friends, party members, and the entire Ijumu community the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
