The Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa (KSCOE), Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, on Thursday received in audience the newly appointed Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Board of Trustees Member representing the North Central Zone, Dr. Hassan Abdul Rahman Ocholi, on a courtesy visit to the College.
Dr. Fashagba, alongside members of the College Management Team, congratulated Dr. Ocholi on his appointment and expressed confidence in his capacity to contribute meaningfully to the development of tertiary education within the North Central region and Nigeria at large.
The Provost commended TETFund for its numerous interventions in tertiary institutions across the country, particularly the impact of its projects and programmes at KSCOE Ankpa, noting that such support has significantly improved teaching, learning and infrastructural development in the College.
While appreciating the Fund’s continued support, Dr. Fashagba appealed for its intervention in the completion of an abandoned hostel project awarded to Channel Resourcer Services Limited, specifically urging the newly appointed Board Member to facilitate the contractor’s return to site so the project can be completed for the benefit of students.

He further solicited additional TETFund interventions for the College, stressing that increased support would enhance its infrastructure, academic environment and overall capacity to fulfil its mandate.
Responding, Dr. Ocholi appreciated the Provost and Management for the warm reception, acknowledged the importance of TETFund interventions to the growth and sustainability of tertiary institutions, and pledged his commitment to supporting initiatives that would advance educational development within the North Central Zone.
He was accompanied on the visit by the North Central Zonal Coordinator of TETFund and other senior officials of the Zonal Office.
The visit further strengthened the existing relationship between KSCOE Ankpa and TETFund, with renewed expectations of enhanced collaboration and interventions for the continued development of the College.
