Fashagba urges patriotism, good governance at 66th Independence anniversary

The Provost of the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the people of Kogi State and all Nigerians on Nigeria’s 66th Independence anniversary.

In a statement issued on behalf of the college’s Governing Council, management, staff and students, Fashagba described the anniversary as a celebration of the nation’s resilience, unity and diversity.

He said it was also a time for Nigerians to renew their commitment to peace, patriotism, good governance, education and sustainable national development.

The Provost commended Ododo for his leadership and commitment to the progress of Kogi State, and prayed that God would grant him continued wisdom and strength in the service of the people.

“May Nigeria continue to grow in peace, unity and prosperity,” he said.

Fashagba wished Nigerians a happy 66th Independence anniversary and prayed for God’s blessings on Kogi State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria..
