Moved by the hardship faced by residents of Yagba Federal Constituency over lack of access to potable water, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Yagba Federal Constituency, Hon. Seun Ibigbemi, has commenced the provision of 55 solar-powered boreholes across the constituency.
Already, 25 solar-powered boreholes have been completed in Mopamuro Local Government Area, including Okeagi, Itakete-ide, Ilai, Yeke, Okedagun, Ayeteju, Ileteju among others
According to a statement by the Seun Ibigbemi Media Office, efforts are ongoing to provide additional 30 boreholes across Yagba East and Yagba West Local Government Areas.

The statement noted that the project, being executed under the L.A Ibigbemi Foundation and sponsored by Hon. Seun Ibigbemi, will bring clean, potable and reliable water closer to thousands of residents who have long suffered from water scarcity.
Described as one of the most ambitious grassroots infrastructure drives in Yagba in recent memory, the initiative tagged “Operation Water for All” is expected to provide communities with sustainable, year-round access to safe water and eliminate the burden of trekking long distances for unsafe water sources.
Residents of the benefiting communities, who expressed joy over the intervention, described the PDP candidate as an emancipator coming to rescue them from years of hardship caused by lack of water.
