Good Friday: “Emergence of Leaders is the act of God”-Bishop Kolo.

As Nigerians are looking forward to another administration in some weeks to come, the Bishop of Bida Diocese, Anglican Communion, most Rev’d Jonah Kolo, has called on political office holders to see their emergence as the act of God and stewardship.

Bishop Kolo, stated this while speaking with The Drum Reporters in Bida local government area as Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

He said, God most be their priority in order to have smooth and fulfilled administration, adding that the masses hope for better governance.

“As we prepare for another change of battle, what we have suffered shows that it is only God that can come to our rescue; whoever is coming on board must admit that only God is able to do it”.

Bishop Jonah Kolo, urged Nigerians not to lose confidence but to be hopeful and expectant that Nigeria will be great again.

Speaking on the lessons of Good Friday, the vicar in charge of cathedral church of St John’s Anglican Church, Venerable Silas Yisa, said Nigerians must seek the forgiveness of God and must live a sacrificial life.

“People must seek the forgiveness of God, before now He said the soul that sin shall die but because of the cross today which is being Good Friday a hope of forgiveness has come.

Venerable Yisa said the crucifixion of Jesus Christ has brought hope to mankind.
