Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), on Saturday received into the folds of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Joash Onemayin, a Political Ally of the Former Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu House of Reps Member, and other bigwigs from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) and assured that their interests would be protected.
Other notable decampees who also dumped their political parties to APC were; Hon. Kola Adeyemi – Frm. Olle/Oke-Offin Ward Councilor; Hon. Noah Olorunnipa (Hollywood); Mr Alfred Alaba Dare (Alaska), with their teeming supporters were also received into APC by the State Security Adviser.
Speaking, the State Security Adviser, who doubles as the Kabba/Bunu APC Leader, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), who received the defectors into the ruling APC, lauded the visionary leadership of the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for having the plight of the Kabba/Bunu people at heart.
He explained that for the Governor to have given several appointments to Kabba/Bunu sons and daughters was the true reflection of the love and concern he has for the people of Kabba/Bunu LG, and called on them to remain supportive to his administration.
Various speakers at the event appreciated Governor Ododo for his Consolidated Agenda in Kogi State, which they said is making monumental history in our dear State. Going forward, they all pledged their unalloyed support to the Ododo led-administration.
On his part, the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, welcomed the decampees to APC, added that a caterpillar housed by garden eggs would never cry of hunger.
“Now that you are in APC, you are guaranteed of all comfort,” the Commissioner assured.
