Asuku Leads Top Kogi Govt Delegation to Chinese Embassy

Chief of Staff to Kogi State Governor, Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku on Wednesday led a power delegation on a business meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Cui Jianchun.

The visit was a follow-up to the earlier discussion cum budding partnership established when the Chinese envoy visited the confluence State.

The State delegation and the Chinese Government discussed Areas of partnership which include; Science & Communication Technology, Nuclear Energy, Education, Infrastructure, Industry, Export and Import Opportunities.

The new partnership will open the Confluence state to a new vista of development majorly in the Nuclear Energy Development and other viable ventures as stated above.

Others in delegation includes, Hon. Wemi Jones, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mukadam Asiru Asiwaju Idris, Commissioner for finance, Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye, Commissioner of Environment, Hon. Gabriel Olofu, Hon. Baron Okwoli, Transport and Hon. Bashir Gegu, Solid Minerals.
