Otunba Olayinka Braimoh has called on Christians around the world, especially those in Kogi State, to truly embrace the spirit of sacrifice as they celebrate Easter, the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a statement from his campaign office, he said, “Easter is a time to remember the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, which represents victory over death, sin, and the promise of eternal life.”
He encouraged everyone to hold on to their faith in God, reminding them that even what seems lost can be redeemed.
“This spirit of sacrifice includes all the actions that lead us toward eternal life—things like love, peace, empathy, good governance, and a shared purpose. If we let these values guide our everyday lives, we can certainly make the world a better place for ourselves and for our salvation. After all, death is a certainty, and it leads us to either condemnation or the gift of eternal life,” he added.
May this this season bring forth fruitfulness and abundance in our respective family, local government areas, state and the entire nation at large.
