The National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) Felicitated with Muslim Ummah on Eid-Adha

According to a statement by Mrs. Geraldine Ita Etuk, Acting National President, the Association extends “warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate Sallah Eid-Adha.

“This auspicious occasion, which commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command, is a significant moment for reflection, gratitude, and celebration.

“We acknowledge the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion that this celebration embodies and appreciate the spirit of love, kindness, and generosity that defines the Muslim community.

“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, we pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in our nation and the world at large.

“Once again, we congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on this blessed occasion and wish them a joyous and peaceful celebration.
