The National President, Odo Ape Development Association, Ologbonyo Kehinde Jethro has described the recently established Divisional Office of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the Community as a new era that will enhance security of lives and property.
Jethro in a statement while reacting to the establishment of the Office expressed appreciation to all that played key role in making the move a reality.

“We are happy to announce the establishment of a divisional headquarters for the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Odo Ape. This milestone marks a significant step towards strengthening the security apparatus in our community.
“The presence of NSCDC will undoubtedly bolster the efforts of the police and hunters in combating insecurity, thereby safeguarding lives and properties. We urge all community members to cooperate with these security agencies, ensuring their presence yields positive results.
“We appreciate the tireless efforts of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, in fighting criminality in the state. We acknowledge the contributions of the State Security Adviser to Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), the security guru, and every member of the security team working towards restoring stability in Odo-Ape Bunu and its surroundings.
“Special thanks also goes to Hon. Duro Meseko for his unwavering support on this and other issues. The Obaro of Odo Ape and the Oba-in-Council deserve our congratulations for witnessing this achievement. We express our gratitude to God and the government for this development.
