The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba on Tuesday in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) clinched the Architect of Modern Kogi State College of Education Ankpa Award.
Dr. Fashagba bagged the Award at The Exposure Media Award during its 14th Public Lecture and Award Ceremony.
The Provost, who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Hon. Gbenga Sunday Oshoke dedicated the Award to God and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for finding him worthy to serve the State.
According to him, the honour came to him as a Surprise and also dedicated it to other Management, Staff and Students of the College for supporting the implementation of Gov. Ododo’s renewed hope agenda in the Institution.
He pointed out that all pending Certificates before he assumed office have been made available for collection, laying to rest years of complaints and hardship of Graduates of the College.
Dr. Fashagba promised to continue to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor as his administration is committed to creating an atmosphere conducive for modern teaching and learning.
He thanked the Publisher of The Exposure Newspaper for the honour which according to him will spur him to do more.
