Youths and other traders who recently lost valuables and cash in the recent fire outbreak at the GSM village have been advised to persevere and remain committed to entrepreneurship.
House of Representatives Member representing Lokoja-Kogi Federal constituency, Danladi Suleiman Aguye gave the advise when he visited the traders at the scene in Lokoja.
Aguye who sympathized with the victims over the incident appreciated them for choosing self reliance over crimes.
The House of Representatives Member promised to support the traders to get back to business as he offered a joint cash donation to them.
He equally assured the victims that Kogi state Government would provide support towards rebuilding a befitting business arena for the market.
The House of Representatives who also donated ten solar street lights to the GSM market.
In his remarks, Chairman of the market, Mr Joel Tunde Omoyi, appreciated the federal lawmaker and his team for the visit to the victims of the fire.
Mr Omoyi further applauded Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for assisting the victims of the fire.
Hon. Aguye was also accompanied to the GSM market by the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf, member representing Lokoja 1 State constituency, Hon. Shehu Tijjani Ebaiya, among others.
