The Provost of the Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa, Mrs Olusola Victoria Jagboro will be the Lady Chairperson of the Ogidi Day Festival holding on Saturday June 15, 2024.
Mrs. Jagboro will pair up on the ticket with the Eesa Omuaran, Alhaji Adekunle Oyinloye who will be the Chairman of the programme.
Born to the family of late Pa Michael Adewumi Bello Owotunse of Odo Afin, Kabba, she attended St Mary’s Primary School Kabba and thereafter proceeded to St Monica’s College Kabba from 1973-1978 were she was the Head girl 1978.
Mrs. Jagboro also attended Kabba Teachers College 1978-79 after which she studied Nursing at the School of Nursing, Benin City from 1979-1982.and the School of Midwifery, Ilorin (1985 – 1986).
Still in quest for knowledge, she went to Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka Lagos (1991 – 1993) where she obtained a Technical Teachers Diploma.
She also obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Health Education from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1998-2001) and a Master of Science in Social Work (Health Care Option) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso (2010-2012).
She served as Vice Principal (Administration) School of Nursing, Obangede for 11 years.
She also served as Midwifery Coordinator in the Republic of The Gambia as a member of Nigeria Technical Aid Corps (2007-2009).
She is a member of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria as an examiner and inspector.
She is married to Pastor Moses M. Jagboro and the marriage is blessed with four children and a grandchild.
