Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency Election: ADC Leads as INEC Declares Election Inconclusive

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC on Sunday Declare the election for Kabba-Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency inconclusive.

The Returning Officer, Dr. Adams Baba announced this in Kabba, saying a supplementary election will be conducted in 2 Polling Units where there was over voting and snatching and burning of ballot box in Otu Ward, Kabba-Bunu and Odo Otun Unit 006, Egbeda Ega in Ijumu Local Government respectively.

Candidate of the African Democratic Congress ADC, Salman Idris is leading with 13,867 votes, the the Speaker of Kogi House of Assembly, Matthew Kolawole pulled 13, 605 votes.

The Commission is yet to announce date for the supplementary election.
