Kogi Hotels Tourism GM, Hajia Bilkisu Congratulates Gov. Ododo on Apex Court Victory

The General Manager, Kogi State Hotels and Tourism Board, Hajia Bilkisu Abdulsalam Ogueyi has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo following the affirmation of his victory at the November 11th Governorship Election after it was Challenged by some opposition parties at the Supreme Court.

Hajia Bilkisu in a statement while reacting to the Apex Court Verdict said the triumph has finally laid to rest the legal tussles that have distracted the Governor from focusing on his development agenda for the people of Kogi State.

The General Manager praised the Judiciary for standing by the truth as the people of the State according to her voted overwhelmingly for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), saying legal matters cannot be likened with ethnic sentiments.

“On behalf of the Management and Staff of Kogi Hotels and Tourism Board, I congratulate our amiable God ordained Governor, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo on his Victories at the Governorship Tribunal, Appeal Court and now the Supreme Court.

“This victory no doubt did not come as a surprise as Governor Ododo is loved by the people of Kogi State as he has started well in consolidating on the remarkable achievements of his Predecessor, Former Governor Yahaya Bello.

She said though Governor Ododo started the Governance of the State on a good note, he is now focused and determined to provide more purposeful leadership that will promote peace, unity and provide democracy dividends to the citizens.

Hajia Bilkisu pledged the support of the management and Staff of Kogi Hotels and Tourism Board to the Governor as they are ever ready to contribute meaningfully to the group of Tourism Sector and ease of doing hotel business.

The General Manager therefore prayed Allah to grant His Excellency wisdom and good health to enable him to pilot the affairs of the State to enviable height.
