The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Innovation, Science and Technology, Hon. Saliu Lamidi has expressed appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his foresight at creating the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology.
Hon. Lamidi also lauded the commitment of the Governor to the growth of the Ministry through the just concluded Stakeholders Meeting developing roadmap for the state Government to drive it’s vision for innovation, science and technology.

According to a statement by the Governor’s Aide, “Appreciation through the office of the Special Adviser (SA) on Innovation, Science and Technology to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the creation of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology in the State. With this development the ministry is set to drive Kogi State through the inculcation of Technology driven economy for the state.”
“As we all know that the mission of our governor is targeted towards bringing advancement to the status of science and technology here in Kogi state inline with the vision of his predecessor Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
“I also applaud the Commissioner for hosting a program to engage stakeholders on a roadmap and policy for the promotion of Innovation, Science and Technology. The commissioner has shown unrelenting efforts to make this program a reality. The program aims to ensure that Kogi State within the soonest time is also a giant in the field of Science, Research and Technology.
It is obvious the best is yet to come for Kogi state and this is just the beginning as we are on the path to a greater Kogi state under the Government of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.
