A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi West, Hon. Samuel Aro is set to dump the party for African Democratic Congress (ADC) baring any last minute change.
The Drum Reporters gathered that the PDP Deputy Governorship Candidate in the Kogi State November 2019 Gubernatorial election might pock the ticket of ADC to contest for Kogi West Senatorial District.
According to a Source in the ADC, who pleaded anonymity, the move is supported by Political Leaders in Yagba land to present a credible candidate in the 2023 general elections.
This will bring a setback to the aspiration of Hon. Sunday Karimi, Candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Hon. T.J Yusuf of the PDP.
The development has brighten the chance of Yagba to produce the next Senator, a move that has been the yearnings and aspirations of people of that Constituency for several years.
Hon. Aro, an Business Mogul and Grassroots Politician has contested for Kogi West Senate for more than 3 times now.
